| Icelandic national commitee
of ICOM counts 40 individual members and 6 institutional. These members are
spread in different international commitees. Not many of them have had an
opportunity to be active in their commitees work, otherwise than very few have
been abele to attend meetings and the general conference thanks to a support
from their museums. Last year there was established a national committee of
ICOMOS in Iceland. The Ministry of Culture and Education support the National
Committe of Iceland's work.
